The Geneva National Foundation

Who We Are:

Born out of Geneva National Golf Club's owner and management's desire to give back to the community, the Geneva National Foundation (GNF) was founded in 2005.  Specifically, the GNF is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of those living with disabilities.  We believe these extraordinary individuals should have the opportunity to gain an education, learn life skills, establish relationships and be productive members of society.

What We Do:

For the past five years, our fundraising efforts have revolved around one annual event: The Lifelong Empowerment Open (The L.E.O.).  On the last Monday of June each year, Geneva National Golf Club closes all three of its golf courses for The L.E.O.  This single event brings together approximately 350 golfers and nearly 600 people for dinner in order to raise money for Walworth County charitable organizations.  To learn more about the organizations we supported through The L.E.O. this year, visit our Who We Support page.

Since our first fundraising event in 2005, we have raised over $2.2 million for local organizations that serve those with special needs.  We are proud to operate with a volunteer board of directors, along with an army of volunteers from both the community and staff at Geneva National Golf Club.  In addition, the Foundation has a part-time Executive Director who manages the day-to-day operations and oversees The L.E.O.
