From Disability
to Possibility...

The Lifelong Empowerment Open

The Lifelong Empowerment Open (or L.E.O., for short) began in 2007, and has quickly grown to one of Walworth County's largest fundraising events.  Hosting on average nearly 400 golfers and over 500 for the dinner and auction, the L.E.O. helps raise much-needed funds for several Walworth County organizations that help the disabled.  In 2007 and 2008, the proceeds went to SMILES, VIP Services and Lakeland School.  Inspiration Ministries joined them as a co-beneficiary in 2009 and 2010.  To find out more about these organizations, please visit our
Who We Support page.

2010 L.E.O. Events

SUNDAY - June 27

2 p.m. - First Annual "Steps of Possibility" Push/Walk/Ride

Clients from each of the four charities will either be pushed in a wheelchair, walk on their own, or ride a horse on a short course through Geneva National property, to raise funds for the charity of their choosing.  Be part of the support team and cheer them on as they show our community what it means to go from disability to possibility.

4 p.m. - 2nd Annual Community Ice Cream Social

Featuring Inspirational Speaker and Author:  DJ Gregory

With a passion for golf, and an even bigger passion for life, Mr. Gregory's story brings new meaning to the phrase:  "From Disability to Possibility".  Born with cerebral palsy, DJ's parents were told he would never walk.  He not only proved the doctors wrong, he took his passion for golf and fulfilled a life-long dream.  Several years ago, DJ walked every hole of every PGA course on the PGA tour.  You won't want to miss his amazing story of overcoming the odds, fulfilling a dream and taking the longest, most fulfilling walk of his life.

This event is FREE of charge, but reservations are required.  Please call 262-245-7046 today.
