Please take a few moments to view our video highlights from the 2011 L.E.O.

From Our Director...

There are more than 4,000 individuals in Walworth County, WI living with special needs or disabilities...that's 4% of our population.  And while we have amazing resources and organizations for special needs individuals to benefit from, there are still many needs not being met.

The Geneva National Foundation is committed to being at the forefront of awareness, education and funding for those living with disabilities.  The organizations we have supported over the past seven years provide enormous assistance to this often-overlooked segment of society.

Through this website, it is our sincere hope that you will gain an understanding of who we support, why we support them, and choose to become involved in the Geneva National Foundation.  Whether monetarily or through volunteering at the Lifelong Empowerment Open (The L.E.O.), we look forward to partnering with you in helping those with special needs go from disabilities to possibilities.

Sincerely,

Julia Ingersoll

Executive Director

From Our Presenting Sponsor...

People with special needs experience a lot of "Gaps" in their lives. There are gaps from the comfort of school to the responsibility of employment; the gaps from the accessibility and assistance they need in a home and their ability to afford it; the gaps between their individual special needs and available programs that improve their physical abilities and life skills.

Organizations that serve children and adults with special needs, as well as their families, are experiencing even greater Gaps as well - most notably the gap between the funding they need and the dollars they receive.

I hope everyone who attended the Push-Walk-Ride on Sunday, June 26 or the L.E.O. on Monday, June 27th got a clear picture of how we can help Bridge The Gaps for local organizations that serve those with special needs.

It was an amazing two days, and I am so thankful for everyone who came, walked, volunteered, golfed, or gave of their time and financial resources.  THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
