THE LIFELONG EMPOWERMENT OPEN
Great Golf for an Even Greater Cause
Thanks to all the 200+ golfers who played it forward at the July 25th 2016 Lifelong Empowerment Open (L.E.O.) to support our neighbors with special needs.
This fantastic day kicked off with performances by the Bayside Angels Special Needs Cheer Team and Elizabeth Fideler, who sang The Star-Spangled Banner.
Aside from championship golf on the Palmer and Player courses, golfers enjoyed on-course DJs, craft beer and cocktail tastings, selfie stations, and complimentary snack stops presented by the Hunt Club Steakhouse, Klement's, Big Green Egg and Hecky's Barbecue.
More than $70,000 was raised to respond to grant requests -- and turn disabilities into possibilities.
